We take pride in our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Glazing Service Technician to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Promptly respond to service calls from clients
- Diagnose service related items.
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of glass, windows, and doors & door hardware.
- Oversee multiple projects at a time.
- Layout and field measure jobs
- Provide accurate glass dimensions to project managers and in-office personnel for ordering of glass and other materials.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs for clients.
- Manage project timeline.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot glazing-related issues.
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure precise installations.
- Oversee jobsite safety.
- Work with clients on proper sequencing and scheduling of repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns professionally.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Glazing Foreman
- In-depth knowledge of glass and glazing materials, doors, door hardware, techniques, installation methods and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous glass & glazing experience
- Glazier certification is a plus.
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Flexibility to work on a varied schedule if required.
- Preferred 5+ years’ experience
