Commercial Glass Installer
Description
A Commercial Glass Installer is responsible for helping the crew leader perform all tasks necessary to complete a project and scope of work in a timely manner and up to the standards that are expected by our customers.
Job Duties Include
- Installing window frames, glass, doors, and door frames in both new and existing structures
- Caulking.
- Safely loading and unloading material, including glass.
- Measuring cuts.
- Recording progress of projects through pictures and regular updates.
- Cleaning job sites at the end of the day
Requirements
- No experience is necessary, but you must be willing to learn.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic and communication skills.
- The ability to work with the necessary tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- The ability to regularly climb ladders and scaffolding in and safe manner.
- The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cutting or hanging glass.
- Experience in storefront or curtain wall systems.
- Experience in hanging doors and installing hardware.
